How to Grow Variegated Banana Plants

If you live in a cooler climate, you can grow the variegated banana plant indoors in a pot. Place the plant in a bright, sunny location and maintain a temperature of at least 60°F. You can also use a humidifier or place the plant on a pebble tray to increase humidity levels.
Planting Variegated Banana Plants
When planting a variegated banana plant, choose a location that receives full sun to partial shade. The plant prefers well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Dig a hole that is twice as wide and deep as the root ball, and mix compost or well-rotted manure into the soil.
