The rare tropical plant Hoya Hindu Rope (Hoya Carnosa Compacta) is prized for its unique, rope-like leaves that spiral and twist into striking, dense clusters. Native to India and Southeast Asia, it’s known for its rarity, especially in its longer, trailing form. This exceptional specimen, with its extra-long vines, is harder to find, as the plant naturally grows slowly and doesn’t always develop such impressive trailing lengths. The intricate curls of the leaves make it a standout in any plant collection, offering both texture and a sculptural quality that can’t be replicated by other houseplants.
Hoya Hindu Rope thrives in bright, indirect light and requires minimal care. Water when the top inch of soil is dry, and feed with a trace amount of fertilizer at each watering for optimal growth. Its low-maintenance nature makes it an easy-care choice, though it does appreciate the support of a moss pole as it grows. However, the trailing version, like this one, is perfect for hanging baskets or high shelves, where its extra long vines can be allowed to cascade down beautifully.

For live plants, we strongly recommend selecting the 2-Day Air shipping option. This ensures your plants spend minimal time in transit, reducing the risk of damage or stress during shipping.
While we also offer a more affordable ground shipping option, please note that we cannot guarantee the same level of quality upon arrival due to the extended transit time and the sensitive nature of live plants. Weather and seasonal conditions may also impact shipping times. We carefully monitor weather patterns to safeguard your plants and will notify you of any delays to protect their health.
